Who we are:

East London Printmakers (ELP) operates as a non-profit CIC (community interested company) and is situated in a spacious and well-equipped print studio. A group of artist/printmakers with diverse experience and knowledge manages our studio. We provide open access facilities for Screenprinting on paper and fabric, Etching, Relief printing, Collagraph, and Photopolymer. We conduct a variety of workshops tailored for beginners or intermediates, in addition to one-off master workshops by visiting professional artists. Throughout the year, we offer several residencies and provide an Associate Membership for those interested in greater involvement with the studio’s annual activities.

Method of Payment:

All purchases must be made online through our website. We do not accept cash or telephone bookings.

Refunds and cancellations for Open Access and Courses:

Our booking website is designed to give you flexibility in managing your bookings. Due to space limitations for open access and course facilities, we request that you carefully check your availability before booking. If you find yourself unable to attend a session or class you’ve booked, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Under Orders, click Cancel Request next to your order.

If you cancel 14 days before your booking’s start date, we can refund you immediately. However, if you cancel within the 14 days leading up to the start date, we can only issue a refund if we successfully resell your place.

Cancelled sessions or courses will be released back onto the website, and any waiting lists will be contacted promptly.

While there’s no guarantee of a resale, if it occurs, we will attempt a refund within 48 hours.

Unfortunately, if you cancel on the day of your open access session or course, we cannot resell, and a refund is not possible.


If you’re unable to attend due to illness or other reasons, we regret that we cannot offer a refund, swap, or additional tuition.


We do not reschedule courses or open access sessions. If you can’t attend, you must go through the cancellation process.

Attending your Open Access session:

The keyholder in charge of the session is responsible for preparing the studio before attendees arrive. Any necessary inductions are provided by the Technician on duty. We kindly request that you avoid arriving too early, as there may not be anyone present to open the door until your session’s start time. Please note that if you’re not present 40 minutes after the session has started, you may loose your place.


At point of purchase, you must provide an email address and create a password. Keep this login information confidential, as you’re responsible for any activity related to this username and password.

Data protection:

ELP use your card details to process your transaction at the point of sale and do not store any card details on our system or elsewhere. We will use your email address to inform you about details of your booking. We do not share your data with third parties.
