East London Printmakers

Paul Lincoln

Paul Lincoln's work explores the impact of climate emergency on the built environment. For this year's Box Set, he has prepared a set of prints looking at a building called Bastion House adjacent to the recently-closed Museum of London in the City of London. For the main Festival of Print, he has created a set of prints entitled Melting City based on the Barbican Estate together with a book looking at the decision by the City of London Corporation to demolish both the former Museum of London building and Bastion House both buildings are just sixty years old, have huge potential for new uses; and are no older than many members of the committee that has recommeded their demolition.
