East London Printmakers

Mandi Stewart

Mandi is a mixed media artist who specialises in printmaking. She works between London and St Ives. Her work is autobiographical and reflects both her involvement with the disability arts community and her interests as a disabled artist. Her current Printmaking considers the links between physical and mental health through an exploration of breath. Mandi uses a range of print techniques but she often returns to large monotype images which contrast shape, colour and texture. Mandi is a graduate of the Royal College of Art and has exhibited in a range of galleries in Cornwall and London. Her work is held in many private collections. She is a Leverhulme Scholar and a Trustee for Shape Arts.
