Judit Prieto
Judit artist, curator, and teacher from Barcelona. In 2010 she moved to London, then in 2014 she pursued her passion in art by completing a Foundation Diploma Course at the Hampstead School of Art with distinction, where she learned different techniques on printmaking. In 2013 Judit won the Tate Modern Community Learning Award at the Rootstein Hopkins Drawing Exhibition, in London with a monoprint. After, she has exhibited in UK, and internationally. Since 2019 she joined East London Printmakers as an Associate Member and going to the open access. The same year she co-founded ART from HEART a CIC women led arts organisation that curates, organizes, and manages group exhibitions. They advocate for women and environmental issues and committed to support artists. In 2020 and 2021 she was selected for Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair. Her prints are inspired by nature, started experimenting with monoprints and recently enjoys making linocuts where with the sales of the prints she fundraised for a beehive and plant trees.
