Mark-makers wanted! Explore drawing for photopolymer, without the use of a computer or specialist software in this one-day master class.
Draw, paint, glue, tape, scratch, rub, trace, and discover how your image translates onto this specialist intaglio plate to create new image making possibilities. By the end of this course you will have a good understanding of how to expose and develop a photopolymer plate, and print a small varied edition to take home.
Suitable for those with some etching experience, who are curious about how photopolymer can add to their existing printmaking practice. As well as printing your own plate, you will be encouraged to try chine colle, a rollover colour, and to print on different papers.
All materials are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own drawing materials with you. You will receive a welcome letter with recommendations in advance of the course.
