Colour Mixing

Colour is one of the great joys of screen printing but can be confusing for artists more used to working in monochrome. In this one day course you will learn about the colour wheel and how to mix secondary and tertiary colours for yourself. As a class we will print and overlay translucent layers, before looking at the use of opaque inks for colour mixing and layering with translucent inks. We will also look at the possibilities of base layers, complementary colours and neutrals.

This is a practical class for those with some experience of Screenprinting. We will ask attendees to bring their own basic paintbrushes.
