Victoria Edwards

Victoria Edwards makes quietly powerful and intricately formed etchings and drawings, frequently referencing stories, myths and writings, looking at the psychological inhabitation of the body, its physical human geography. She works primarily in etching, using hard ground, drypoint and aquatint and makes artists books.
She studied for her BA Fine Art (printmaking) at Central St Martin’s and her postgraduate at The Slade where she received the Rosa Morison and Henriques scholarships. Her work has been shown nationally and internationally and is held in the National Art Library, the V&A, University College London, 4AD, and in private collections in the UK, USA, Europe, Australia and Hawaii.
