LUCE

LUCE was born in Hasselt, Belgium. She studied graphic arts at the St Lucas Academy of Art in Antwerp, Belgium. In 1975 she moved to Paris, since when she has worked in several prestigious print studios among which Atelier 17 where she met Stanley William Hayter. Since 2005 she has lived between Paris and London.

LUCE has exhibited widely and has participated in many print fairs and exhibitions. Her work is represented by galleries in France, Belgium, London, Dublin, New York and Australia. She was awarded the Print Open 2nd prize and The Bigger Picture Gallery 2nd prize.

In 2011 she was selected for the Cadaques International Mini-Print Exhibition,

Pushing Print and BITE.

Her work is represented in many public collections among which museums in Mexico, the Republic of Georgia, Seoul, the Royal Museum of Fine Arts (Antwerp), the Belgian Royal Library Albert I, (Brussels), the French National Library, (Paris),York College, the Victor and Albert Museum and the Van Abbemuseum ( Eindhoven-NL )
