Susan Vera Clarke

Susan Vera Clarke is an Essex born artist who studied at Falmouth University and currently lives and works in London. With a central focus on Etching, she investigates how our natural environment is impeded and marked by our contemporary lives and how science and innovation is helping to curb the impacts of climate change. In an almost autobiographical manner, Susan’s work is a reflection of how she makes sense of what she reads around the topic of climate change. Akin to how a print is an impression from a matrix the same came be said for her work. Her prints are an impression of her and her understanding of the world around her.
