This September ELP will be welcoming to its studio, Simon Goode founder of the London Centre for Book Arts.
LCBA is the UK’s only open-access resource and education centre dedicated to book arts. Located in Fish Island, near Hackney Wick in East London. Earlier this year East London Printmakers teamed up with London Centre for Book Arts, exchanging concessionary rates on all courses for both members of ELP and LCBA.

Celebrating another fantastic year of printmaking, East London Printmakers will be holding its annual exhibition at the Embassy Tea Gallery. Seventy artists will be exhibiting their latest work, showcasing a wide variety of printmaking techniques.
We are very proud to announce that this year, British Abstract Expressionist painter and printmaker Albert Irvin OBE, RA will be opening the exhibition.
With one month to go we’ll be looking more closely at some of the artists who will be participating in the event on our blog.

Broaden your knowledge of intaglio techniques with Dolores de Sade’s Chine Colle course.
Chine Colle is a intricate way of adding colour and texture to your prints. By collaging delicate papers onto the printed surface you can achieve fine details as well as adding areas of colour without using multiple plates and contrasting textures.
