Congratulations Eliza Southwood

Eliza Southwood is our first ever project key holder!

We are really looking forward to having her in the studio in the new year.
Eliza has recently been shortlisted for the Serco Prize with this ‘Oranges and Lemons screen print. It will be exhibited in the London Transport Museum in the new year. She was part of Artcrank 2013 and you may find some of her prints in the new cycle/ coffee shops that have been popping up lately.

Sarah Boris

Sarah Boris is a graphic designer, art director and artist based in London. She has worked since 2003 for organisations and individuals which include Phaidon Press, Tate, the Institute of Contemporary Arts, the Barbican Centre, the Architecture Foundation, Triangle Network, Gasworks, Hotshoe International, Max Wigram Gallery, Visiting Arts, Fedrigoni and the Royal Philharmonic Society amongst others.

She was also an Associate Lecturer and mentor at LCC, University of the Arts, London and was previously teaching graphic design to A level students at SFX sixth form graphic design course in Clapham South.

Her designs have been featured in books and magazines such as Types We Can Make, Swiss typography, ECAL; Common Interest: Documents. Design for a Good Cause, Index books; 10 years of Ideas that Matter, Sappi, Business Cards 3: Designs on Saying Hello, by Michael Dorrian and Liz Farrelly, The Graphic Eye: Photographs by Graphic, Designers from Around the Globe, by Stefan Bucher, Natalia Ilyin, Bastardised, Made in Bunch, Shout Awards book 2007, Robert Horne, Grafik, idPure, Swiss magazine of Graphic design and Design Week and online in typography and design websites.

Sarah’s work has been exhibited internationally (UK, Spain, Ukraine, Moscow, USA) including most recently at Pick Me Up, Somerset House London. In 2012, she was awarded the Creative Future Investment Fund for artists by Creative Scotland. She completed an artist residency in Scotland in August 2012, which culminated in her works being exhibited in DCA, Dundee Contemporary Arts.

Sarah Boris studied at Olivier de Serres and Estienne, School of Art in Paris and graduated in 2004 from an MA in Graphic Design at LCC.
