Statement
The accidental or incidental marks found on walls and other surfaces that denote a sense of dereliction and development inform my visual practice into the representations of the city.
Currently I am engaged with the relationship between graphic design and printmaking whilst continuing to develop work that explores the boundaries of screen- printing on different surfaces.
Background
I studied Fine Art Printmaking at University of Wales, Cardiff where I initiated my practice involving found surfaces and screenprinting. I continued to develop my work through self-initiated projects and commissions in South Wales.
Relocating back to Southern England, I worked as printmaking technician and tutor at Portsmouth University where I enhanced my printmaking skills and gained experience as a visiting lecturer in Mianyang, China. Having recently moved to East London, I am looking to gain experience within design industries and look forward to begin a Masters programme at Camberwell College of Art.
