Statement
I am principally interested in atmosphere and relationships. I create an interaction between the figures, objects, spaces, tones in my images to suggest a certain tension of existence and presence, a sense of looking and waiting or the suggestion of an imminent encounter or passing. I am currently working on a series of bathers in which I explore these ideas through the interaction and co-existence of figures in public (beach/park/pool) or private (bedroom/bathroom/interior) as an atmospheric space.
