Statement
Years ago I was an artist filmmaker, and there is still a filmic quality to my images. They look like they could be film stills.
I am turning the gaze to what is little seen in images of the male or female. The surface melts, showing us the interior beneath the outer skin.
My imagery is not concerned with story, but rather the separate moments, the revealing of a person or a tulip, and the feeling evoked.
Background
I have studied and exhibited in Leeds, South Wales and London.
I completed an M.A. Degree at the Royal College of Art in 1985.
