Statement
My work deals with memory, nostalgia and the creation of myth. These prints are made using real artifacts to create pictures of imagined places. Jungles are constructed out of plants found in local gardens, parks and windowsills. Caves are constructed out of rocks and rubble. I create small-scale models that I then draw and print. The prosaic is used to describe the imaginary, mythical and out of reach.
