About ELP

East London Printmakers is an independent collective which promotes the artist's practice from within a dynamic and professionally-led environment. ELP studio offers exceptional facilities for printmaking, resources for artists' individual development and opportunities for group exhibitions. The collective runs an active programme of workshops and Open Access sessions to foster creative potential for individuals and community-led initiatives.

Established in 1998 as a not for profit constituted voluntary organisation, East London Printmakers supports thirty key-holders, represents one hundred members and attracts over one thousand visitors annually.

The group is run by a committee of volunteers elected by the members. Current committee members are:

  • Ann Norfield
  • Peter Rapp
  • Katja Rosenberg
  • Stewart Taylor

ELP has also two members of staff:

  • Studio coordinator: Nick Morley (Mondays and Thursdays 10-2pm)
  • Maintenance coordinator: Richard Roberts (Thursdays and Saturdays 10-2pm)

ELP welcome visitors to the studio during Open Access hours.
